I think so what, we say it at Beavers and no one has objected, the are 6-8 FGS and could not give a toss about it tbh. I've been running a group for years and no one has ever objected, totally irrelevant to the whole scouting movement on the ground.

I didn't know that my DS could have changed the word "God" to "Allah". His religion was on his registration form, no-one said anything....

Although one of the leaders said to me a few years back, unrelated to scouts and at a toddler play group, where we were discussing who we were voting for in the elections, she said that she was voting BNP. "Yes, I am a racist" she said Shock And for weeks I'd been telling her all about my multicultural family and my half caste DC Shock I was so shocked!

And now she's his scout leader. I was wondering if I should mention it to the other leaders but decided that as she was nice to everyone's face (black or white) then I'd leave it.

But that could be the reason why she didnt encourage the change in wording.

BTW the rainbows/brownies/guides catalogue sells a colour coordinated hijab! I think that's fantastic
