Anyone know what it symbolises? I know it is at the crown of the head but just curious if I should know more,

Probably the most important one to know about on your journey learning.

The Crown Chakra is linked to your personal connection to spirit and the universe. It influences your connection to cosmic consciousness, spirituality, wisdom, aspirations and knowledge.

When you are in deep meditation and feel the top of your head tingling, that is your 7th chakra connecting to divine energy.

What about if you get a tingly head for no apparent reason? I can't meditate.. wish I could.. but ever since I have been learning about spirituality it has been happening fairly regularly. At Live8 it was happening LOADS! i had to keep turning round to see who was messing with my head!!

SJ - you don't have to meditate to open up the chakras. With your spiritual learning it is no wonder that the 7th is opening up.

Don't worry about it. I would take it as a sign that you are taking great strides forward in your spirituality.
