Help us name our new kitten please!

We have just gotten our new kitten. She's a lovely dark grey, brown and black tabby. very quiet and altogether fab.

we can't decide on a name. we have two dogs already -they are poppy and daisy.

my dh would prefer a name that is not a persons name for the cat. other than that the field is pretty much open....

any ideas?

coco was our last cat so maybe not. Penelope is the name of one of my best friends so don't think I should do that! others are food for thought thanks.

keep them coming !

Or a third plant name? Larkspur? Foxglove? Myrtle? Olive? Campion?

How about Iris? Still a flower name but with a little more dignity behind, as befitting a cat?

Aki, means autumn in Japanese, which I think quite suits a tabby.

Thanks for all the suggestions -some great ones, and they're all much appreciated.

Ivy sounds good and so does Iris.

Iris is lovey and it works best with the dogs names too - Ivy / Daisy might confuse.

true about Ivy/daisy but Daisy is a cav spaniel who will come to any call whatsoever. In fact i don't think she knows her own name but thinks Poppy also refers to her. She's dizzy but nice.

With DD and DH away for a few days the cat naming is on hold but she'll be named by the weekend.
