A seagull that pretty much lived in my back garden this year, was deliberately mowed down by a car outside my house this evening. His wing was hanging off and he was in an awful distressed state. Phoned the RSPCA (after waiting 25 mins trying to get through) that they couldn't send someone out til tomorrow !!

Thank God for the "East Sussex Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service" who promptly arrived just 30 mins after phoning them. They took him away to be put down immediately, saving me from the distress of seeing him in such a state.

I'll never bother with the RSPCA again.

They're rubbish ... Saw some kittens along a motorway once, I could see that they were malnourished and had an infestation of worms. What the RSPCA said?
"Sorry, we usually don't bother with stray cats" I was like ....what? In the end I bugged a cat sanctuary near where I was and they came to collect the cats.
