3% is an atrocious rate.

It is the rate of 5yr survival from pancreatic cancer.

Can I ask you all to sign this petition?

Funding may be scarce but even awareness helps?

On and a share on social media would be fab!!!! Better than most of the crap we read on there.....

The 5 year survival rate is actually 6%.
I know from personal experience.

op no genetic testing. My Nan said it was only after he died that it dawned on her that his siblings had died of the same thing. It was very quick between diagnosis and death. All of them died very quickly after diagnosis, each time it had progressed to stage 4.

It might have been different had they been tested. But I don't think it was offered then as it is now. There was quite a wide age range between them, one or two of the siblings have been dead 30 years give or take, my grandfather has been gone almost 15 years.

I do wonder if my dad should be tested though.
