how hard can it be........

to say "Ask" not flippin "Arks" or even worse "Arksk" as in "I've arksk you already" I suppose it was Eastenders lol, but you hear it in the street all the time and it really winds me up

is it? I'm sure Caucasian's say it too Maybe it originated from the West Indies then. Just blardy annoying! Surely it's easier to say it properly?

I'm pretty sure it's a West Indian pronunciation which has been taken up by white kids wanting to sound 'street'.

I distinctly remember the black children at secondary school (1980's) being the only ones who said 'aks'.
