hee hee

am giggling to myself at the thought of being in public and not being able to yell at the computer

I, of course, only have the littlies to think I'm completely insane.

And they already know that.

dd having a settling in session at nursery?

vodka then. Not gin.

Wouldn't want to smell like a lush when she picks dd up.

i think mrsb needs that double gin by the sound of things

Its awful when the dc are settling in at nursery. She's probably up to her elbows in glue and sand and paint, loving every minute and not giving you a second thought, as you weep into your pork scratchings!

On a thread yesterday someone spelt cue as queue.
I resisted the urge to correct her because a)I was lurking, b)she was in a bit of a state and c)she had managed to spell queue correctly. Still bugged the hell out of me, though .

oh, maybe not then! Oh in that case she'll be getting cuddled and coo-ed over and generally being made a fuss of

Report
stealthsquiggle · 19/03/2008 12:31

So she is getting lots of cuddles and watching all the "big" ones in absolute fascination.

Have another sneaky eclair.

SquonkForgotHerEasterName · 19/03/2008 12:31

triple vodka then!

Mrs. B, she will be fine.

Hopefully not up to her elbows in glue, but fine nevertheless.

Pork scratching anyone?

Report
stealthsquiggle · 19/03/2008 12:32

I'll swap you prawn crackers (left over from last night's takeaway) for some pork scratchings, squonk.

I wish there was a bar next door to DD's nursery, I'd be able to hang out there when she's settling at school in September (school & nursery = v close).

Now DD, she cried for her first hour-long at nursery, and then I had to be called an hour and twenty minutes into her next session (two hours). Fine ever since - 3.5 years on she wants to go today, even though she's squirtin' from both ends.
