Can you help me with CV wording? Grammatical help needed...

Would be grateful for any help. Am rewriting CV and want to use the following style to describe my current work...

Blah Blah Industries (August 07 - )

I blah blah. My responsibilities include:

....Walking in the air

....Swimming in the sea

....Skating on thin ice

For .... please read bullet point. My question is, what should the grammar be around the bullet points? Should each line start with a capital letter or just the first line? Should there be a comma, semi-colon or something else at the end of each line? Where should the full stops be?

Would really appreciate any help before putting off new employers with bad grammar!

Many thanks!

For short entries like this the best thing is to start with a capital and have no closing punctuation. As usual, the most important thing is consistency: whatever you decide on, stick to it.

Thanks girls, bullet points would be slightly longer than this ie

...walking in the air, working with colleagues to identify and cost ways of meeting this challenge (comma?)

i would take the easy way out and let the computer chose?
if you put the bullet points in it should do it all for you automatically
but i would make each sentance begin with a capital and probably end with a full stop.

i woldnt have thought the people reading it would take much notice, unless that was going to be your job, putting thign into bullet points

I wouldn't put a comma at the end of your bullet points tbh

I'd do something like

-Twirling my hair, picking my nose
-Spending alot of time on MN, trying to look busy
-Drinking lots of tea

(- = bullet point)
(well that's mainly what I do at work anyway
perhaps not the nose-picking
)

Lol Lapin!! Bizarrely that does describe my work skills in a nutshell, it's tough being a superhero

So to recap, you're basically saying capital letter at start of bullet point and full stop at end. As long as introductory sentence is a complete sentence and not the beginning of a list?

Cheers awfully!

ps how is your DS's poor teeth? Did you take him to the doctor in the end?

Sorry Slarty and catissleepy cross-posted.

My pc doesn't automatically choose for me..wish it did! So not commas at end of bullet points, but are full stops a good thing?

Catissleepy your working day sounds much like mine, apart from I am cheekily rewriting my cv!

ps my job involves lots of writing so any spelling/grammatical errors in CV would be frowned on...

Especially as I refuse to interview people with lots of spelling mistakes in their CV's.
