This is surely very wrong - and if it isn't, I still loathe it.

Smacks of aspirationalism to me. Sounds rather superior. One never hears "We're looking to purchase a fine pastry product from Greggs" or "Oi. D'yer wanna get a new car innit."

I think it is the language of boardroom twattery. I find it a bit irritating.

I'm looking to stamp out this sort of thing.
