I'm a newcomer to Pedant's Corner so sorry if this one has been done before. I was inspired to post here for the first time by spotting for the umpteenth time on MN the expression "It wouldn't phase me....". The spelling is faze!!!!

I feel better now.

Do newspapers have sub-editors any more? I see that error in newspapers so often these days.

No Nannyogg, sub editors have mostly been made redundant. Including me and DH. I really struggle now reading the nationals, so so so full of typos grrr.

Time was you never saw any kind of mistake in The Sun, or The Telegraph.

My latest annoying one is "flaunting the law"

OP thank you. I was beginning to think I'd imagined the word 'faze' during my drug addled misspent youth.
