John Lewis have a feat/feet problem

Had to call the asst. over and point out that on their bathroom scales, a lot of the shelf edge tickets were referring to " carpet ready feat" - packaging all correctly referring to "feet" - think she thought I was being really petty, but really drives me mad.

Will check in a week or so to see if they have managed to correct!

Oh it would have driven me mad too!

The toy box at our local library has TOY'S painted on the side of it. I think I've pointed it out to various staff about six times since we moved in January. I am sorely tempted to take in some blue paint to match the box and paint out the apostrophe!

I don't think the asst. even understood what was wrong until I showed her the correct spelling on all the packaging.

I once sent all the point-of-sale material back to head office when I worked at Past Times because it read "Our new tudor line! Your going to love it!". I got an e-mail back asking if they'd sent the wrong size for our shelving units. I actually had to point out that Tudor should have a capital T (and explain why) and that your and you're are two different words. In their defence, they did recall all the POS stock and re-do it Smile

John Lewis? We're going to Hell in a handcart.

Muppet - I love you!
