This gets me so twitchy when I see things like this whilst doing something like looking on the app store for a silly little game to play. Do people in America have a different way of saying this? Or is it just people making up a new word because they can't be arsed to learn the right one?

YES. Just what is wrong with the word 'Addictive'??? Means the same, surely. And just the same number of letters so no harder to type.....
