Racing car theme to 3 yr party - any game ideas?

Main feature of ds 3rd birthday is racing track marked out on scout hut floor for everyone to race their own vehicles round (trikes, scooters, push alongs etc.). Does anyone have any inspired ideas for other games/activities keeping with the theme? Thanks

Hunt the car. use card - I used the inside of old cereal boxes and draw a picture of a car and do enough so there is one for each child. place them round the room with blue tak and each child has to find one for a prize.

Traffic lights. Adult shouts green, they run around the room (agree the direction first!!). Amber, they walk. Red, they stop, whoever moves is out. Obviously you swap between green and amber randomly and don't follow correct traffic light sequence!!

Love the traffic lights idea, seem to remember it from when I was little. Might need to have an ambulance on standby...
A car treasure hunt is now also on my list, thank you.
