Big cake - where to buy or how to make??

So it's DS's 5th birthday and we're doing the Whole Class Party - so about 20-30 kids and perhaps as many adults. When I've been to these parties there has always been a really big cake. Where can I buy one of these, or do I have to source a huge cake tin and appropriate recipe from somewhere?

Thanks!

M and S do nice big cakes or a local bakery would probably make you one to order.

Or you can hire tins from some cake supply shops, I've done a huge Mickey Mouse came from a hired tin, cost about £8 I think.

You could make 4 lots of 20x20cm cakes, lay together on a board to make one large square (40x40cm) and decorate x

Thanks for the tips - it's the first time we've done a big party!

Don't suppose you use Costco? They do massive (delicious) personalised cakes for £13
