Me and dh stupidly agreed to let dd have a party and as we have spent a lot on her present we cannot afford to spend a lot on a party. Which is why we came up with the idea of a barbecue. There are going to be six altogether. Any ideas please!

Treasure hunt in the garden or home made piñata?

Water balloon fight? Nerf/water guns? Things like frisbee, boules, volleyball. Tie-dye t-shirts, paint a canvas for the birthday girl's room (everyone could do handprints), limbo, s'mores, friendship bracelets.

DD had an outdoor BBQ party when she was 15 , ( I know !!!!! ) there were 6 of them , lots of soft drinks, crisps , strawberries and chocolate .. then as we are lucky and have a bit of a field out the back , we made a waterside with a couple of ground sheets , a never ending supply of watering cans and some fairy liquid .
They had a wonderful time ( and played like girls , lots of shrieking and belly dives in their bikinis )

My ds is having a BBQ & sleepover. We've got a firepit so will be toasting marshmallows after the BBQ. We're going to get water balloons for a big water fight, play twister, one of those water sheets you slide along on your tummy sounds good fun too!

I've never done or played a piñata but that sounds good fun so will look into that!
