First time organising birthday party for dd - advice needed please

I am organising a birthday party for dd who will be six. This is the first time she is having a big party, previously we have had small parties at home with family or a day trip out.

I have hired a church hall and the party will be for 2 hours in the afternoon. I've invited 24 kids and there will be an entertainer for the first hour. I figured that having tea and cutting the cake would take about 30 mins of the second hour and then we have another 30 minutes to fill until home time. My plan was to just play music and let them dance/run around and to have some craft things for the quieter kids.

I've bought some mini gingerbread men, icing pens, sweets and cake decorations for them to decorate and some stickers for them to decorate their party tea boxes (have bought happy meal style boxes to put food in).
Do you think that will be ok to entertain 6 yr olds?

I also need advice on what to feed them. To keep costs down I'm doing a packed lunch type tea so each happy meal box will contain:
sandwich
frube
box of raisins
babybel or cheese string
home made choc crispy cake
hula hoops
drink

Is this enough food? I can't think of anything else to put in it!

I also plan to give them jelly but this won't be going in the lunch boxes!

Any ideas or suggestions re my planning gratefully received!!

Thanks

Sounds a great party. I wouldn't plan to much for the spare 30 mins, they will probably just want to run round the hall. What filling are you doing for the sandwiches ? Have a tray of spare sandwiches with different fillings in case they don't like ham or whatever it is in the box sandwiches.
