Alternative party for a 5 year old?

I've got nothing against the village hall option but I was after something a little different for my dds 5 birthday. It's in June so outdoors could be an option but am not sure what to do?! Help.
Just been reading the thread re a party in the woods which is a great idea. Have you been to any other 'memorable' parties?

We hired a fairy entertainer when my DD was 4. She held the kids in the palm of her hand for 1 hour then I gave them food and it was time to go. Kids loved it. Parents did too so we went to about 20 fairy parties that year,but the kids enjoyed every time.

Some friends have had craft parties, some have done soft play, some have done Lego parties. IMO the ones with an entertainer to run most of the games are more memorable than those run by frazzled parents
