Bridesmaid vs flower girl

Very simple question but is there a difference? If so what? Dd is 2 and will be a FG in July. Can't tell from bride what she's expecting. Anyone know etiquette / expectation? Bride professes to b laid back but judging by my fb account I'm really not convinced as she's def got zilla tendencies!

DD1 is a flower girl in the summer, and I had a FG and 2 bridesmaids at my wedding.

The difference is age really, my FG was 4 and carried a flower ball rather than a posy until her brother used it as a football

She walked infront of the the bridesmaids and behind me, and wore an ivory dress with a sash of the bridesmaid dresses around the waist.

I didnt expect anything from her, and dont see what you could expect from a 2 year old tbh! You should therefore be exempt from bridezilla tendancies.
