'but i want it' (reassurence needed)

dd1 refused to eat her dinner, so we have told her she cant have chocolate eggs. she is whinging, crying screaming etc. please reassure me that we're doing this right.

i bl**dy hate easter, too much chocolate in the house for too long, and not easy to hide.

Sounds harsh but if she had been hungry she'd have attempted to eat dinner. Can you put her to bed if she won't stop ?

she has stopped as i threatened her with no bath tonight if she carried on. best i better go run the bath now.

good job she loves baths.
