Can anyone give me some good ideas for helping my 14 month old with separation anxiety? I'm at a bit of a loss as my first 2 were much calmer all round. DS2 however shrieks if the person who is looking after him leaves the room, really has a problem with new people, hates being held by the instructor at the pool for even one second, and can work himself up into such a frenzy that he can howl for 30 minutes inconsolably. He's quite touchy in lots of ways so I try to keep things calm and predictable, but our much loved nanny is leaving soon and I am dreading the transition period with the new nanny. Help!
