Parenting

Hurry Please! going on holiday to devon tomorrow with 10mth old and 9 year old. Any advice?

their needs are so different. STruggled with routine for 10mth old who was an appalling sleeper until i did cc at 8mo. Now sleeps great but gets up really early. We are staying in a lodge so he will probably disturb everyone. dh not overly supportive never cared for both children since ds's arrival. Dreading it tbh but want to make it great for dd as she is sooo looking forward to it. Having anxiety attacks over it already.

Will he not look after lo while you take dd out for the day, there're some great adventure parks there.

you hav got to be joking! he is useless. never even given the lo a bath or put him to bed. sees him for about 15 mins per day . we are going to ilfracombe btw

I suppose your only option is to bundle lo up in a pushchair and try to persuade dh to come with you then - doesn't sound like much of a family holiday to me or have I got the wrong end of the stick

There's some info there on adventure parks - The Big Sheep is good and Milky Way etc.

Hope you have a good time hun - I love it (my gran lives in bideford). Try and get dh to spend more time with dcs if you can - doesn't seem too fair on you x
