Yes, even with the tiredness, and all the other stuff that makes it hard work.

I just love it.

me too! Glad you are enjoying your new little man!

oh good!

I really enjoyed dd3 as a teeny tiny newborn too, by the time you are on your third (or fourth!) you realise that the cliche is true - they grow up so fast.

I was saying exaclty that today to someone, and she laughed as only 5 seconds before I'd be saying what a pain one of mine was being lately.

Babies are just so lovely though aren't the, I want more, just need to find a donor LOL.

I love the first few days when you are as high as a kite on hormones, you feel like superwoman having given birth to this little person who you have fallen totally and utterly in love with, your DP/H thinks you are wonderful and is falling over himself to do the housework and visitors bring you chocolate

Me too. It was such a steep learning curve with DD that I didn't realise how sweet she was until suddenly she was too big to nestle into my chest in that lovely floppy way anymore. Now I want another one!

Enid is soooooooooo right. I hated every minute of DS1 being weeny but it was over in a flash . I made sure I hugged and kissed DS2 every 10 secs - where did the last 4 months go?

Enjoy!

I hated DS1s first couple of months. Twas hell.

DS2 is now 4 months old, and I can honestly say the last 4 months have been joyful

Newborns are fab! I just loved walking round holding them all day long.

Aaaaaah, lucky you LTH!

Forgot to say, the best bit is around 6 weeks-ish , and they give you the gummy grin. Aaaaaaaah, bloody love it, so so cute.

Gummy grins are in fact my favourite things in newborns. Snuffling too.

Oooh I love newborns. Then at about 6 weeks I'd like to press their fast-forward button so I could have a walking, talking, and admittedly tantrummy, 2 year old. Because 2 year olds are unbelievably cute and cuddly and extremely amusing. I love 'em!

Aw, that tiny cry!

The toothless gums.

Their floppy bodies.

The wrinkly skin.

They're edible.

Hvaing just posted on the other thread about how horris the first 6 weeks of DS life were I am hoping that I will enjoy newborn-ness with number 2. Is it easier to enjoy second time round cos you are less worried??
