My morning

Get up this morning and decide to go through the bags of clothes under 9 month DD cot to sort out the bigger sizes
Sit her down in front of the sofa in her room with some toys, making sure floor is clear.
Turn round 2 minutes later to see the tail end of one of the plastic tag things they use for securing labels onto clothes disappearing into her mouth like spaghetti.
Freak out
Scream at DH to get out of the shower and help me.
Get bitten trying to get it out of her mouth
She manages to swallow the tag end as I get hold of the thin end.
Let go as darent pull it out in case I hurt her.
Have to watch her gagging with tears in her eyes as she swallows it
Call paramedic brother in law in panic who says to call out of hours dr (which for us is NHS direct)
They tell me to take her to A+E even though she is fine now and if I hadnt spotted it going down I would have had no idea
Go to A+E (with DH driving, which didnt exactly calm me down)
Dr listens to her chest and declares her fine
Demand he at leasts checks her throat (for gods sake)
Dr (in very pissed off manner) checks her throat and declares her fine again (wanker)
Go home ready to inspect her nappies (joys)
hoover entire house from top to bottom (including under the sofa in her room!)

Im just so confused as to where she got it from, I never 'untag' clothes in her room for just this reason, I always do it in the kitchen so I can bin them asap.
grrrrrr!
