Worried about dd's physical/mental health.

Dd2 is almost 8. For the past month or so she has been complaining of tummy/groin pain. It's not persistent though, so up until now haven't taken her the doctors. More recently her eczema has escalated, it hasn't been this bad since was a baby. It's even all over her face, specifically her forehead. She's also got terrible dark circles under her eyes, you'd think she hadn't slept in months. She does have hay fever which could be contributing to it.

She's quite an anxious worrier of a child and also quite sensitive. Recently she's even more anxious than usual, quite fidgety and on edge a lot. Last night she woke up several times saying she felt weird, and dizzy and sick. From the way she described it it sounded like a panic attack (had plenty of those myself). And again this morning when she was in her room getting dressed she came crying down the stairs saying she felt weird and dizzy again.

She also said her pee is "warm" not burning she said, but I'm suspecting maybe a UTI? She's walking with her top legs squeezed together which she has done on and off for months.

I'm quite stumped at what could be causing all this. The only recent changes in her life are dd1 went into her own room after they'd shared since dd2 was a baby, so now she's in her own room. And dd1 is starting secondary school next week so will no longer be in the same school as dd2.

Should I take her the doctors? I've been reluctant to take her for the pains as they haven't been consistent and during the day she's playing and eating as normal.

Your dd sounds very stressed. I think a doctor's visit is warranted to rule out any physical causes of her symptoms, and maybe refer her for therapy.

Have you tried teaching her relaxation techniques?

It sounds like it could be allergies. Google allergic shiners and see if it fits.

Has she got any allergies or intolerances? That's what it sounds like to me with the tummy pain, eczema and dark circles under the eyes, could they be allergic shiners?

Worth taking her , take urine sample for them to test. Does she has any inflamed areas?
