Help!

What do I do? Should I give him more milk? Normally he has a good appetite but he won't let anything in his mouth apart from his bottle and a spoon of yoghurt.

Anyone else had this?

Plus he's a right misery guts. Please tell me my fun loving boy will return. I'm on the edge with all the whining and tears!

Calpol works wonders!!
My DS also 12 months does this we have 4 teeth coming out all at once at the moment so I have the same problem!!! HV said not to worry give him milk if he wants it! I found that DS likes peas/sweetcorn at the moment cold from the fridge and fruit pots I guess it relieves some pain on his gums!
Boots do teething buiscuits which are a good thing to have a good old chew on (assuming your in the uk Blush )

I can entirely sympathise. My DD struggled with every single tooth. The things that helped, especially with eating, were:

  • nurofen 30mins before eating, it works better than calpol for teeth pain.
  • either soft soft food, stew, porridge, mash, shreds pie.
  • or cold stuff, frozen cube or sticks of stewed apple, puréed strawberry etc. frozen frubes were great, yoghurt and great for reaching those back teeth.
  • she liked to chew toast sticks at the end of meals too.

For your sanity:
  • each tooth is one tooth closer to the end of teething, it does end!
  • remember how awful tooth pain is, it helped me to understand her unreasonable, annoying behaviour.

Good luck!
