What to stock up on for toddler with new baby coming?

So we have a new one coming any minute. I have bought lots of sticker and colouring books for toddler to do while I breastfeed etc. Anyone else have any good advice for things I should maybe get a stash of (i.e. easy, cheap fiddly toys or something)?

At the moment he plays really well by himself in his room etc but I am guessing that might change if he thinks the new baby is getting all the attention?

Any other tips for handling both v welcome!!

Small clip top boxes for snacks which can be filled at night and put in the fridge with carrot sticks/apple slices to save having to do it during the day.

I found it useful to have nappies/wipes etc in the changing bag and getting dd to 'help' by getting a nappy when changing ds or a bib for feeding.

Cbeebies was a life saver.

A travel cot was great for putting the baby in for naps so that dd couldn't get at him to smother cuddle him.

I also got dd a 'best big sister' top from ds which she loved wearing.

Giant floor puzzles were good as well as it kept her entertained but I could help tell her where the pieces went without having to put ds down during a feed.

A big set of wooden blocks (if he is two or older)

A big blanket so you can all cosy up together Smile

Tumble Ipad. That's what DS requests. He also does like having a story while both he and DD sit on/near my lap and she is fed.
