Can I use a sharpie on Sophie?

Everyone has a Sophie so putting a name on her seems sensible. Seeing as the squeaky giraffe spends a lot of time in DSs mouth I'm not sure of the best way to do it. Any ideas?

I think a sharpie used and then let to dry would be fine.

I don't have a Sophie! Envy

I would use a sharpie, but I'm not that fussy.

I would only mark it somewhere where it can't end up in his mouth, such so Sophie's chest or at the top inside of a leg. Maybe a cross or line, because a name would be too difficult.

Who knows what chemicals can be sucked out of sharpie marks

Could you scratch/engrave the name on the bottom?

Why not just leave it at home?

Dc has 1 but for the cost of it - we leave it at home and play with other things when out and about.
