Seriously, every day. Twice a day. Tantrums, flat refusals, you name it. He's 3.5. What can I do? I've tried everything I can think of!

When he was about 3 my DSis got my DN a Fireman Sam electric toothbrush 'like Mummy and Daddy' but obviously theirs aren't Fireman Sam ones
She checked with the dentist who said it was ok and DN loved it immediately.
If that doesn't work...bribery?

Oh no, DD is like this at 20 months, I was hoping it would wear off soon.

We have to pin her down and brush them while her mouth is open to yell Sad she has tartar despite this so god knows what it would be like if we didn't. I got her an electric toothbrush, she is scared of it...

The thing that seems to help most is if she's read a book or watched a TV programme where the character brushes their teeth (Maisie books good for this), then she is keen to be the same. It wears off quickly though...

We have had some success with making out teeth are for certain foods she likes so:

We have to brush the ice cream teeth, the pasta teeth, the chocolate button teeth, the toast teeth and ooo, I nearly forgot the shepherd's pie teeth. Imagine if you couldn't have Shepherd's pie again because mummy forgot to brush the shepherd's pie teeth. Silly mummy etc etc etc

I won't make out it's solved the issue but it has helped.
