DS is 4 months old and for the last 4-5 weeks he has been sleeping in a Crib. However, after deciding he is now too big for it me and DH have moved the cot into our bedroom and DS will be sleeping in it tonight for the first time.
The temperature in our room is so warm and so all DS had been wearing to sleep in is a vest and a pair of socks. When he was in his Crib this looked more than adequate and he slept really well, but now he's surrounded by so much space in his cot I can't help worry he's going to get cold.
At what point is it to just cover them with a loose light blanket? I know there are risks of suffocation but DS frequently sleeps with a Muslin and is able to pull anything off that would be resting on or covering his face.
What do you all do with little ones in Cribs?
I know Gro-bags can be an option but in this heat, regardless of tog, I imagine they would be unbearable.
