I have the opportunity to go to the seaside tomorrow which my ds and dd would love.

It is about 1.5 hours away in the car.

But I'm on day 6 of potty training dd

Do we not go and stay at home potty training

or go and put nappies back on for the day

or put nappies on for the journey only

TIA

Definitely go.

Whether pull-ups for the day or just the journey depends on how well potty training is going I guess.

For the future these car seat protectors are v useful for longer journeys.

Definitely go. Put nappy on for the car journey if necessary, but I'd think a beach would be just as good as home for potty training.

I've been training ds for one week now. I've not stayed in at all. Just take a travel potty.

Travel potty and a bed mat on the car seat. Potty before leaving and as soon as you arrive. 1.5 hours is not too bad, I did a 3 hour coach journey and a 6 hour car journey with dd1 when potty training and just stopped regularly and/or prompted by asking her if she needed to go.
