Can anyone who has/had DC aged 4, 2 and zero please say something good about it?!?!?

I am expecting DC3 any day and am starting to quietly panic at the thought of another person to deal with on top of the 2 very demanding people we already have. DS is two and is still very baby - and completely fixated on me- in many ways. DH was ambivalent (to put it mildly) about having a third DC and I think he too is feeling a sense of impending doom. It would be great to hear any positive stories! Or at least that this is survivable...! Smile

Yes. It is survivable and in parts it's good fun. Mine have the same age gap and are great friends (and at times sworn enemies...)

When I had Dd2 I had Dd1, 6, Ds1, 2 and Ds2, 1. Three under three was a challenge but we survived! Now Dd1 is 11, Ds1 7, Ds2, 6 + Dd2 5 + I miss it all so much we are ttc #5.

The nice things include that they play together nicely most of the time , they are extremely close and are always there to back each other up.

I had 4 under 5s at one time and the hardest bit I remember is going from only having one dc to having 2, the others just seemed to blend into the family chaos
They are adults now and very close, I did leave it 14 years before having dc 5&6 though Grin

It is very hard work but at least they will all be going through things at more or less the same time - they'll all enjoy the same kind of holiday, for instance, and days out at the weekend.

The downside is that, although the children may be close emotionally and good friends at times, they will be fiercely competitive for parental attention and there will be lots of fights!
