13MO suddenly hates her bath since a week ago

Just like that: one day, she loves her bath, always has, the next day, an absolute terrorised screaming wobbly if we run the bath with her in the room, undress her in the bathroom, show her the bath or put her in her bath.

I even tried bathing her in the tummy tub we used when she was tiny and that was ok as long as she just had her feet in but you could see she was barely containing herself. She just about tolerated having a bath if I took a bath with her.

There have been no terrifying bath incidents at ours; she goes to a CM and as far as I know there have been no terrifying bath incidents at hers either, she has no reason to have a bath there. Do you think it's normal for her to suddenly be hysterical about baths?

Also, does anyone have any genius ideas that might help her get round to the idea again? Should I just wash her screaming and traumatised or should I give her a wipe and let her be?

We had this. I was genuinely perplexed. After days of following their gaze I realised she was staring at the showerhead. Maybe had a nightmare about it? Thought it was a monster? So we took the showerhead down and all was happy in bathland again!

Is she looking at anything particular? The fact she's OK with you there implies she is worried about something, but trusts Mummy to keep her safe.

It would be so helpful to have little windows into their heads, wouldn't it!
