Am looking for inspiration (new ideas / suggestions for meals) as well as reassurance (that I'm not feeding DS too much / too little / not the right sort of thing!).

Please could you give me a run down of what your 1 year old eats on an average day:
Breakfast -
Lunch -
Dinner -
Snacks -
Drinks -

Thank you!!

Breakfast - Weetabix/rice crispies/Cheerios with chopped up fruit eg strawberries, raspberries, banana, blueberries or toast

Lunch - cheese/ham/egg mayo sandwiches, omelette, fish fingers, small tube shaped boiled pasta with tuna, mayo and cheese, tinned spaghetti/beans on toast, or tortilla wraps with grated cheese and grated apple. Usually incorporate peas, sweetcorn or cucumber,

Dinner - whatever we are having eg bolognese, fish pie, chicken casserole, sausage (with skin removed) and mash, lasagne, pasta in sauce, each time serve with vegetables of some kind. Pudding usually yoghurt or custard pot and roughly once a week we have a treat pudding

Snacks - raisins, bananas, breadsticks, crackers with cheese spread, Heinz biscotti biscuits etc

Hope that helps a bit!!!!

Breakfast: porridge and banana
Lunch: scrambled egg, savoury pancakes, fishcakes, cheese on toast, sandwich type of thing
Dinner: what we're having usually, although some things he's more keen on than others. Family type meals.
Snacks: breadsticks, fruit, rice cakes etc.
Drinks: milk and water.

Worth looking on the food threads too.

Thank you so much for your replies so far - they are really helpful!
Plus they have put my mind at rest as your suggestions aren't far off what DS has (phew!).

I think I was just worried I was getting into a bit of a rut giving him the same sorts of thing all the time - like for breakfast he always has porridge, for lunch he often has bits of cheese, bread, mini sausages, and his snacks are nearly always breadsticks and/or rice cakes!
He only has water to drink too (just milk from me first thing in the morning and last thing at night).

Maybe I'll start offering some alternatives as mentioned here including fish fingers, scrambled egg and beans on toast.
