DD is 12 weeks old and a proper wriggler. Until this week she's been a brilliant sleeper, but this week I've been up with her about four times each night because she's wriggling in her sleep, turning herself round 90 degrees and getting stuck in her cot, then screaming blue murder. She is taller than the cot is wide, so she's well and truly stuck and needs to be rescued. She sleeps in a grobag and doesn't have any extra blankets etc. The temperature in her room is comfortable.
She used to sleep in a travel cot, which is quite a bit bigger - she'd rotate in that too but obviously with quite a bit more space she didn't get stuck. However we were worried about her sleeping in a travel cot long term as it can't be very comfy.
I just wondered if anyone else had had this problem and if so, whether this is something she'll grow out of or whether there's anything we can try to stop her getting stuck? DH is wondering about somehow attaching the back of her grobag to the sheet so she can still wriggle her legs but can't rotate - although I'm worried about the safety implications of a home made solution!
