18 month old keep climbing out bed

hi my 17 month old girl sleeps in a low to ground toddler bed she has slep fine in it but likes us to rub her or cuddel her to sleep now she can climb out bed and i want to get her yo fall sleep unaided as she awale every night from 1 am till 330am iv got black out curtains btw i doin routine where i stand by her bed and put her in when she climb out but as soon as i lay her down she straight up o spend hours doing this till i end up holding her hand and rubbing it just to get her to sleep please help

I don't have the best sleeping kids, so might not be the best to advise, but I'd try gradual withdrawal.

So, initially, you sit with her and stroke her hand. When that works OK, you sit by her, and hold her hand. After a few nights of that, sit by her, then sit not next to the bed etc.

Could you put her back into a cot? I plan to keep DS in a cot for as long as possible!

Isn't that what a cot is for? I dread to think what my 18 month old would be like in a bed.

well no she wouldnt settle in a cot as her feet kept gettin stuck in bars as she likes to sprawl out

Try airwrap system (google it - amazon or john lewis) to stop her feet getting caught.

I think your on a hiding to nothing having a 17month old in a bed - no reasoning at that age!
