hi! My exactly-8-month dd is loving gestures with nursery rhyme these days - keeps copying. Might any of you know actions for nursery rhymes? The only one I really know is twinkle twinkle little star. Are there any actions you know for other nursery rhymes? i love singing to her.

"Wind the Bobbin Up" is great for that. Also "Tiny Turtle".

Why don't you go along to a free 'Rhyme Time' session at your local library, where you can learn some rhymes and actions together? And you might meet some new people.

I've always enjoyed singing rhymes with my DCs in the bath makes bath time more interesting for me too.

Row your boat
Horsey Horsey
Tommy thumb
Heads shoulders knees and toes
Wind the bobbin up

Have you tries checking out your local library - many of them have rhyme times/singing groups where you can go along to learn them all. Or you might have a singing group in your area - I know of some brilliant ones around the Croydon/Purley area if that helps Smile

You will be able to find videos on youtube of action songs. A fab lady, local to me (used to take DS to her classes) is Jellybeans Music. I can't link cause my phone's playing up but I'm sure you'll be able to find some.
