ds has been with his childninder since he was 6 months only 16 hours a week but has grown to love her and look forward to going to see her twice a week . She is moving to a different area and we now have no real need for her and is an expense we could do with saving . He is now at pre school so is getting the interaction and stimulation he needs from there .
How do prepare him for loosing her and help to.cusion the change in his routine .
It breaks my heart to take her away from him.

Can you discuss this with the childminder? They might have some experience of this.
