Do you put these on your baby over a vest and their normal sleepsuit? Or just over a vest?

I put one over a vest on my 7mo dd last night then put her in her sleeping bag but her hands were still cold this morning, paranoid that I'm gonna overheat her if I put her normal sleepsuit on her aswell!!

I put a vest normal sleepsuit then the fleecey sleep suit but no seeping bag. I think unless you have an extremely cold house either the sleeping bag or fleecey suit would be enough, i have no central heating so my house gets very cold but DS is fine with the 3.

I wouldn't go with her hands for how hot/cold she is i would go with how warm she feels when you lift her.

I answered your other thread - but didn't see the fleecy sleepsuit bit.

If you are using the correct tog sleeping bag for the room temperature then a normal sleepsuit and vest will be absolutely fine. To check her temp feel the back of her neck, not her hands as babies circulation is still developing and extremities can feel cold when the baby is actually perfectly warm.

If you are worried about cold hands (you don't need to be) then pop a pair of scratch mitts on rather than a fleecy sleepsuit.
