Sleeping in the Garden?

In the summer if George fell asleep whilst we were out we'd just park him in the shade in the garden and let him finish his snooze. Obviously we checked on him and our Garden is very small so can easily hear from the house.

Now winters here I'm at a dilema as to what to do. He wakes up if I bring him in plus normally the pram wheels are Muddy. He is wrapped up toasty but do you think it's too cold for him to nap outside? I have reasoned with myself that it would be no different as to me wandering round town for an hour or so but still not sure. He's so hard to get to nap in the day anyway.

What do you do if your little ones fallen asleep whilst out n about and still asleep when you get home?

Totally fine to leave them outside if adequately wrapped up for the weather.

if he's wrapped up then it's fine, as you say, no diff to going for a walk

There is a very good nursery down the road from here and their kids just about always nap outside in the fresh air (they have cots set up and sheltered)
