leigh on sea area. whats it like to live there?

Looking for a mutual exchange around southend, leigh, westcliff area's.

Any mumsnetters live in any of these area's. We have four dc all of primary age but eldest will be in her last year hoping to move before secondary school starts.

One thing I would love dc to do is horse ride. I had horses as a girl and saddened dc don't know the horsey world but living in London with the four dc horses have been out of the question. Would keeping a horse be possible around the area's stated.
