Mothercare Bangsar Shopping Centre Crime Hotspot

Yesterday morning my iPhone was stolen from my handbag at the till while in Mothercare in Bangsar Shopping Centre. I had just used the phone and it was stolen before automatic lock had kicked in, leaving the lovely person who did this with total access to my information, mail and photos, it was taken within two minutes of my last text. This was bad enough until I went into the store to ask to see their CCTV footage as I could pinpoint the exact time it happened, only to be told that there are NO cameras in their store! So a store which is for parents and children, which let's face it when you are shopping with kids your attention is pretty much on them, has no cameras so any thief with half a brain cell will work out rather quickly if you are looking for a good place to steal head on over to Mothercare BSC! When I spoke to BSC management they told me that they have encouraged Mothercare on a number of occasions to install cameras to no avail! Worse still when I went into the store to tell them, they really couldn't have cared less, even being so rude as to start serving someone while I was explaining what had happened. Go Mothercare for really looking after you customer! No cameras and staff who are just rude and complacent, must shop there again!
