Cosytoes/Buggy Liners

A bit of a "menial" question but someone might be able to help.

My baby has just about grown out of her carry cot and I am about to start using the pushchair unit.

I am trying to find a cosytoes to fit the pushchair but all the ones in the shops seem to match certain makes of pushchair, i.e. Graco, Britax, etc. but cannot find a "standard" colour cosytoes.

Anyone have any ideas where I can look - either high street shops or on-line.

My pram is continental so cannot find the relevant make of cosytoes. The only reason I want the cosytoes is so that it keeps the pushchair looking pretty decent - no sicky stains, etc. I know you can wash the pushchair liners but would rather just be able to wash the cosytoes rather than keep taking the pushchair apart to wash the seat cover.

Sorry can't suggest a good place, bought mine abroad. Just a word of warning, I bought one in the UK a 'standard' one to fit all makes and it did, bit ds grew out of it by age 1! I expected they just lasted ad infinitum, but this one didn't and it was £30, so watch out!

I got a replacemt which will last - and I am a big fan of cosy toes - not just for keeping pram/buggy clean, but it's more comfy I think and much warmer than blankets or a coat.

If I can find more web info I'll get back to you.

Mothercare do a navy one which they reckon fits most makes of pushchair which is here (I hope !)

Planet Baby have sheep and cow themed ones but they're expensive (www.planetbaby.co.uk) I would have put it as a link but the technicalities of including 2 in one post seem to be a bit beyond me..

Hi Bumblelion
Just a word of warning - I had the mothercare cosytoes which twink mentions but found that DD grew out of it very quickly. She is quite tall for her age, but I did expect more than one winter out of it!
You can get Snuggle sacs and Buggysnuggles for pushchairs which seem bigger, but are more expensive. A Google search on either of those terms should give you a few places to try

Yes, that's a good point - I'd forgotten that dd grew out of the one for her Mothercare buggy very quickly

Bumblelion - have you looked in John Lewis or in the Tesco baby catalogue?

Thanks for your messages. I have seen the one in Mothercase but have noted your comments that it isn't really very big.

I am waiting for the new Tesco catalogue to come through so will look in there.

I also searched on "Google.com" and found a shop that is not too far from me that sells "Clare de Lune" cosytoes/buggy liners.

I will wait until I receive the Tesco catalogue, if not I will take a trip to this local nursery store.

Thanks for your help.

Just bought a buggy snugle from john lewis it was a bit expensive (£48) but is lovely and thick and quite long so plenty of room for growth.
