Carbon Monoxide Alarm

I have posted last year but I feel it's important to keep raising awareness of the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning. My daughter, aged 31, died in 2010, two months after her wedding. This week I got an email from someone who bought a CO alarm after hearing about our daughter. Her alarm went off but after the engineer visited, they found out that the carbon monoxide was coming from the flat below. It can come from any property that is adjoining yours. The man hadn't had his boiler checked for 20 years! Please have your appliances regularly maintained - boilers - cookers - wood burning stoves, chimneys etc and make sure you have an audible carbon monoxide alarm installed.
