Not sure where to post this one, sorry if not in the right place.
I work in a primary school as an LSA. My mother tongue is French and I am contemplating the idea of being the school's MFL coordinator, there isn't one at the moment and I have not been asked to, it is just something I would like to try.
Now, I have little concept of where to start with. I would like to be absolutely sure what the role entails before offering my services.
Any experience, tips, ideas, resources welcome! Grin
Thank you very much!

I would be interested in any info about this too. I have a degree in French and German, and a PGCE, although mine is for teaching adults, not children. I would be very interested in doing something like this.

My main trouble is, I think, to try to devise a list of things important to be taught, at what point to teach them (order) and how exactly to assess.
