Hi, just need some advice please

My friends wedding is coming up in late May, and I'm a bit unsure about the dress I want to wear. I'm hoping it will be a bit warmer and would really like to wear a chiffon maxi dress that I have.

The reason I'm unsure about it is because it's leopard print, delicate leopard print not Kat Slater kind of leopard print. It's fully lined etc so it's not a casual beach kind of maxi. I was thinking of wearing it with tan wedges and a clutch.

A friend has said that they wouldn't wear any kind of animal print to a wedding but I don't see how it's different to wearing a big bold floral print or anything but the doubt is in my mind now.

Thanks in advance

I don't see a problem with it. I was happy with whatever anyone wore to my wedding, it was just nice they came. You have obviously given your outfit thought, and your friend and the other guests will be able to see that. Would the friend who wouldn't wear animal print to a wedding wear animal print at all??? Do you like all of her clothing choices? She probably just has different ideas to you - no reason you should have to buy a new frock because of that though! I'd go with your original plan. As far as the opinion of a complete stranger counts, I think it sounds lovely.

Enjoy the wedding.

I wore a animal print dress to a wedding :) cant be any worse than the mother of the groom turning up in black at my best friends wedding! Animal print is very fashionable at the moment! x

Thank you for your replies :)
Catsycat, you're right about having different dress sense.

I'm going to stick with my dress. I think I've over thought it because I've not been to a wedding since I was a kid so for my friend to say that made me worry about dress codes etc.

Thanks again
