I can't find them, took them off Thursday and fingers swollen a little and bloody can't find them.

Ideas or psychic vibes would be most welcome before the tears come.

5 rings in all including wedding and engagement and an eternity ring for each child!!!! WHERE ARE YOU??????

Can you remember why you took them off, where you were?

Took them off because fingers hurt. Thought was in hallway but where in gods name would I have put them.

Thinking of donning vinyl gloves and going through compost crock thing!!!! Heaveamundo! Have gone through rubbish sacks already!

Bloody answer must be startling around in my brain somewhere.

Do you have any nice little pots that you might have used? When I take off my rings, I usually pop them in something small and closed, rather than leave them hanging about.

Handbag?
Coat pocket, if you were in the hall?

God in heaven!!!

I found them.

Went through dustbins, recycling bin and compost bin which was a feat and a half when have morning sickness!!

DH came in for run and said 'would you have taken them off when you went to dig per insurance stuff out?'

Now I cannot see why I would have taken them off in study, probably go up to that floor once a month at the most and I was up there for about 3 minutes but went up and there they were on the desk!!!!

Hoorah!!!!

Had thought of creepy people creeping in during the day whilst I was asleep on the sofa.

Thanks for the vibes.

Oh great, well done! Grin

It's such a relief, isn't it, when you find something. I turned the house upside recently when I lost my car key. Naturally it turned up in the most unlikely place. Hmm

I seriously started thinking someone had crept in and pinched them or I had managed to throw them away and would never see them again!

Phew. I lost a really expensive watch like that once. The strap kept coming loose so I took it off before it fell off, and put it 'somewhere safe' so I didn't lose it, intending to take it for mending. Couldn't remember where the 'somewhere safe' was, and never saw it again. Confused

I think my two year old may have taken it and buried it in the garden. Hmm

Ha, no chance MC he's thirteen now and we've moved house three times since then! Every time we pack to move my DH says 'So your watch still didn't turn up then?' Grin

(If you live around the Chelmsford area and your great-grandchildren unearth a Raymond Weil in future garden excavations, it's mine.)

Ha ha. Seriously if our house was a little older DS would be in the garden with his metal detector right now. Our house only 6 years old though.
