I went dressed as popcorn to a circus theme fancy dress party once!

Wore a red and white stripy dress.. Then asked kfc for an unused small popcorn chicken box.. Which i covered in red and white stripy wrapping paper and filled with popcorn (i used lots of pva glue to make sure popcorn stayed!) then i threaded an Alice band through the bottom of box.
Whole outfit cost about £10!

We've done the bunch of grapes with my son.

Also done a bag of sweets (dd wore a unitard which we sewed Velcro too and made "sweets" out of different shaped boxes, wrapped in pretty papers. Stuck Velcro on them and added to the unitard. Then we wrapped cellophane from the florist from the neck to the knees to make the bag. Voila a bag of sweets).

Berty basset. A wedding cake, all ones we've done.

Another one we've looked at Is a picnic. Cut a hole in the centre of a paper table cloth to put over child's head and stick paper plates, plastic food, paper cups to it.

Could you do a sushi roll? Dark green paper tube. Stuff with polystyrene chips and some coloured chunks of polystyrene round the neck to look like fish, cucumber etc?
