I know there are a few here who aren't the world's greatest flyers, so thought we could have a nice thread to chat, offer advice, share experiences and things that worked for us, things to avoid etc.
The thread in Chat about turbulence made me think about my trip to Prague in september, and how, I was a nervous wreck (didn't tell my mum that though) about the flight home, as we had nothing to do on the last day but sit around the hotel, occasionally going for a walk. We flew back on September 11th, and as we were boarding, all the lights in the jetbridge went off, then we flew over a thunderstorm, and hit horrible, stomach dropping, turbulence. Yeah, my brain wasn't thrilled about all of the above!
But, I did better than on my flight back from Cyprus in 2011, I didn't cry or grab my mum's hand, as I did when flying back with my mate, so that's progress, right?
Flying in a couple of 4 and 2 seater planes between the Cyprus trip and Prague trip helped, I think.
