Rhiannon, for the Prezzes and Sailors I knew some but not the rest; google is just www.google.com and then I put "US Presidents" and then "Military Ranks" in the box. (It gave the equivalent ranks for US/UK, for all the forces, which was sort of interesting.)

Still stuck on the others though...pity about the anniversaries. Google's list for those, from Chicago Public Libraries, goes up to 100th!!! Can you imagine?

Rhiannon, I can't see either of those sequences, or astrological signs. I keep thinking cj,hh,z should be easy to guess (but it isn't!)
Still stuck, Keep trying!

Where is everyone? You must be sick of all those relatives by now! As you can see I'm getting a bit desperate and insane with this stupid quiz now.

Here they are again:

  1. n,a,m,l,cj,hh,z...........

  2. a,p,stl,l,s,a,p...........

  3. a,t,c,c,n,g,o.............

  4. c,t,c,p,r,d,g.............

  5. l,f,t,f,d,a,g,s,m this is the only list which doesn't carry on.

Thank you DD is coughing, must go. R.

Rhiannon, what is the significance of carrying on or not (if you know) please?

Report
Rhiannon · 29/12/2001 09:46

janh, well I think it's because some of the lists may be long ones like England captains or something, so they've just listed a few. R.

Hi janh, no I was looking for the other one with the 2 c's and the o thinking they were Coe, Cram and Ovett and was looking for Olympic games that they all might have won medals in and stumbled across the venues list. They all won golds in Moscow Olympics in 1980 and also in Commonwealth Games in 1982, they all fit except the N. Oh Well. R.
