Is pot pourri poisonous?

A friend of mine is concerned that her toddler may have eaten some pot pourri at a neighbour's house, but doesn't know if she should be worrying or not. Does anyone know whether it is poisonous? Thanks!

You could call NHS Direct and ask them. Some plants are dangerous, but I don't know if this applies when they are dried, and I don't know what sort of chemicals they put into pot pourri but I wouldn't take any chances with it.
